  • 🔴 Weak (0-40): Short, common, or simple passwords
  • 🟡 Fair (41-70): Decent length but predictable patterns

Improving Weak Passwords

When you see weak passwords, consider:

  • Increasing length (aim for 12+ characters)

❓ Frequently Asked Questions

General Questions

Q: Is my data safe if I forget my master password?

A: Unfortunately, no. Your master password is the encryption key for all your data. If you forget it, your data cannot be recovered. This is by design for maximum security. Always keep your master password safe and consider creating encrypted backups.

Q: Can SecurePass Manager be hacked?

A: SecurePass Manager uses military-grade AES-256 encryption and stores all data locally on your device. Even if someone gains access to your computer, your passwords are encrypted and unreadable without your master password.

Q: How is this different from browser password managers?

A: Browser password managers are convenient but limited to web passwords and often less secure. SecurePass Manager can store any type of password, offers advanced security features, works across all applications, and provides better encryption.

Q: Can I use SecurePass Manager on multiple devices?

A: Yes! Your Premium license allows installation on multiple devices. However, data is stored locally on each device - there's no automatic sync between devices for security reasons.

Q: What happens if I upgrade from Free to Premium?

A: All your existing data remains exactly the same. You simply unlock additional features like unlimited passwords, advanced generator, security audit, and more themes. The upgrade is instant and seamless.

Technical Questions

Q: What encryption does SecurePass Manager use?

A: We use AES-256 encryption with PBKDF2 key derivation (100,000+ iterations) and SHA-256 hashing. This is the same encryption standard used by banks and government agencies.

Q: Does SecurePass Manager work offline?

A: Yes! SecurePass Manager works completely offline. Your passwords are stored locally and don't require an internet connection. Only license validation and breach checking require internet access.

Q: How do I transfer my data to a new computer?

A: Use the Backup & Restore feature (Premium) to create an encrypted backup on your old computer, then restore it on your new computer. Alternatively, use the Import/Export feature.

Q: Can I customize the password generator?

A: The Free version includes a basic generator with length and character type options. Premium users get advanced options including passphrases, patterns, custom character sets, and saved presets.

Billing Questions

Q: Is Premium a subscription or one-time payment?

A: Premium is a one-time payment of $29. No recurring charges, no subscriptions. You own the license forever and get free updates.

Q: Do you offer refunds?

A: Yes! We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee. If you're not satisfied with Premium features, contact support for a full refund.

Q: What payment methods do you accept?

A: We accept all major credit cards, PayPal, and bank transfers. All payments are processed securely through our payment partners.

Q: How do I get my license key?

A: Your license key is sent to your email address immediately after purchase. Check your spam folder if you don't see it within a few minutes.
